Fruitty Pavlova
2 egg whites-room temperature
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2/3 cup sugar (or less, to taste)
Strawberry, Raspberry, Canned Peach, Kiwi
Instant whipped cream
Hershey's strawberry syrup
1. Prepare wax paper on baking pan.
2. Place the egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar in a small mixing bowl.
3. Beat with an electric mixer (medium speed) until soft peaks form.
4. Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating on high speed until very stiff peaks form and sugar is almost dissolved (about 5 minutes)
5. Using the back of a spoon, spread meringue onto baking pan.
6. Bake in a 300F oven for 35 minutes until the outside is dry and takes on a very pale cream color.
7. Mound the whipped cream and topped with fruits and stawberry syrup. Wallaaaa...it's time to eat.
