Wanna share some of my yummylicious porridge recipes; Faris's favourite.

Grilled Salmon(Omega) Porridge
1/2 cup rice, washed and rinsed
2½ cups water
Salmon fillet
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
1 tsp olive oil
Cauliflower
1) Marinate salmon fillet with lemon juice, olive oil and honey for 5 minutes.
2) Put rice and some cauliflower, add in water and simmer until rice grains are soft and mixture is fairly dry.
3) Grilled the marinated salmon in saucepan for 3-5 minutes each side.
4) Remove porridge out and add in grilled salmon
*puree according to the consistency that your baby prefers
White & Orange Porridge (it's not about colors)
1/2 cup rice, washed and rinsed
2½ cups water
40g chicken fillet, remove all traces of fat and diced
40g carrot, shredded
40g white carrot, shredded
Ginger, crushed
some coriander leaves
some onion leaves
1) Put rice, chicken fillet, carrot, white carrot and ginger; add in water and simmer until rice grains are soft and mixture is fairly dry.
2) Add coriander and onion leaves, stir.
3) Remove porridge out.
*puree according to the consistency that your baby prefers
Tips:
1) Add a pinch of salt if necessary (elakkan garam utk bayi, tp sekadar utk bagi perasa tak salah)
2) For the best and smooth porridge, used double boiler or slow cooker.
3) cups of water utk masak nasi hanya anggaran.
4) Please add extra water kalau nak porridge yg berkuah.
5) Kalau masak guna dapur api dan nak dapatkan porridge yg lembut (dah tak perlu kisar)..this is my tips: dah agak2 nasi dah hampir nak pekat, perlahankan api, kacau guna senduk kayu tanpa henti. nasi tu akan pecah dan kembang dgn cepat.
